Thought I'd take the opportunity presented by c4 showing Life of Brian to abandon the sniggering heap on the sofa and drop a quick post. (Heresy in most circles, I know, but I don't think monty python are THAT funny.) Sadly, we're not responsible for corrupting anyone. Give anyone enough absinthe and Abba and odd things are bound to happen. Anyway Abel, I am primed, resolution-wise. This week will see me working industriously, going to the gym at least twice, drinking only mineral water and showing nothing but respect to the sniggering heap (which will of course include not laughing when England lose the final test...). Just got back home from an excellent new year's eve party with a group of (ostensibly) vanilla friends - though there was a remarkable amount of friendly bottom spanking going on - so much so that one friend was complaining this morning that her bottom was black and blue after the rigourous attention it received after the chimes of midnight! Anyway, it is now back down to earth and all those new year resolutions - which might if necessary be rigourously enforced but I'm sure it won't come down to that...will it Jo? Abel, Jo can be as good as gold when she chooses to be but she makes the wrong choice surprisingly frequently. I wouldn't have it any other way though!
