The Ideal Fantasy School

It will surprise nobody if I say that Abel and I rather like school stories. We don’t only ever fantasise about spanking in school settings, but it’s very much a favourite fantasy for both of us. It’s also the framework within which we role-play a great deal.

Despite this compatibility, Abel’s fantasy school and mine are different in certain ways, some of them major, some of them not so crucial.

I should really let Abel speak for himself if he wants to (sorry, sweetie) but when I think about the differences, I can’t very well describe them without putting some words into his mouth.

Both of us see ourselves in a British school, and we’ll both research the education system and histories of famous public schools with great interest. We both enjoy enriching our fantasies with authentic details. Authenticity is important to both of us.

To an extent. And there has to be this limitation, because, of course, in a real, authentic British school under no circumstances would a male teacher cane a schoolgirl on her bare bottom. Or her clothed bottom. Or at all. And of course, the caning of the (pretend) schoolgirl on her bare bottom by a male teacher is the single act which we love to re-enact and describe in many guises, and so reality must be stretched a little.

Other instances on which we are happy to compromise with reality – and where we resolutely draw the line – can be used well to describe the similarities and differences in Abel’s fantasy world and mine.

While Abel accepts that, as I mention, a male teacher can discipline a female pupil, he won’t compromise on his conviction that it would be inappropriate for the teacher to spank the girl over his knee, or to use any implement other than a cane, or a tawse, or a plimsoll. (Maybe a big paddle, if he’s being adventurous, but we aren’t fans of paddles, so this rarely comes up.) Anything else – other than a cane or a tawse used on the girl’s hand, or those two plus a plimsoll on her bottom – doesn’t feature in Abel’s fantasy school.

Girls in his school are very rarely punished in front of the class, and, on the whole, corporal punishment tends to be rare – and thus every instance of it is an extraordinary event. A girl gets the cane once or twice in her school career, and carries the memory of it throughout the rest of her life. On their part, teachers make everything to play up the importance of the occasion – and the significance of the fact that the girl has been caned before. (Every punishment must be more severe than the last. Or, conversely, the first punishment must be extraordinarily severe, so that there isn’t the second time.)

So, you could say that his school is on the whole not too strict, but that each separate occasion of corporal punishment is a terrifying, traumatic event.*

My school is, perhaps, a less authentic establishment, but I’ve been carrying its general image in my head since before I knew what authentic corporal punishment regimes could have been like. It is at the same time a stricter and a more lenient establishment than Abel’s.

It’s stricter, because corporal punishment is used there frequently, and is – if not the first response to any misdeed (for then we would never have lines, demerits, corner time, extra homework and detention) – then it’s something that everybody expects to experience and witness on a fairly regular basis. Even the best-behaved girl in the school can’t avoid getting spanked at least once a term; the bar is set quite low. So, you see, it can be seen as a fairly strict place.

However, each individual instance of corporal punishment in my fantasy school isn’t necessarily all that scary. It can be anything from a single, embarrassing smack on the clothed bottom, to a bare-bottom caning in assembly, but more often than not it will be a moderate punishment: painful and undesirable at the time, but not overall too traumatic. The girl will worry about it beforehand, and cry at the time, and squirm on her chair afterwards, but the next day she’ll be bright-eyed, bushy tailed and ready to sin again.

Where implements and positions are concerned, I’m also willing to commit some crimes against authenticity. In my fantasies teachers are allowed to take girls over their knee for a hand-spanking, and on occasion they use decidedly domestic implements, like a hairbrush, or implements borrowed from other times, like the birch, or places, like the paddle.

There you have it. Two school fetishists, two different fantasy schools. Isn’t it lucky we are pretty good at communicating?

    Interesting stuff. Can I ask a question? (I’ll assume you said ‘yes’. LOL) Don’t feel you need to write a dissertation, unless you want to:

    Does the girl at your school, as opposed to the girl at Abel’s school come out differently? Which one is better prepared to ‘meet the challenges of the new world’ as the brochures of such schools like to say?

    I wonder if Abel’s girl is being prepared for the girl of his dreams – very well behaved most of the time, and responding well (i.e. instantly well behaved again) to an occasional sound thrashing, that is meted out with due care to have the greatest effect on her mind as well as her bottom.

    Whereas when your girl gets punished, it is part and parcel of all the fun of school life and doesn’t go close to transforming her into anything other than her true self (i.e. which includes her fair share of naughtiness).

    Rob, I have no idea. I don’t work out complete biographies for my fantasy girls. I prefer to focus on the experience of spanking, rather than its consequences :)

    Perhaps that is the major difference between your two fantasy schools, then. I have to think that Abel (asleep on the couch??) is into consequences for his girls. His Headmasters are always so “disappointed” at bad behaviour, so careful to ensure that the good girls who have fallen from grace, won’t be back any time soon. Somewhere in the back of his head, I have to think that he is churning out respectable girls who know how to conduct themselves in the world……..??

    Hmmmm…

    Having had the pleasure of attending a school where Abel is teaching, I can certainly say that being caned in front of the class was certainly not a ‘rare, twice in a lifetime event’. For the unfortunate girl in was twice in four minutes! Mind you, she did deserve it – and it wasn’t me before everyon assumes it was!

    Mind you, it sure was traumatic. I thought I’d throw up in sympathy!

    Rapunzel: In that school, it sounds as if there are plenty of black marks being given out, but surely somewhere along the line a girl might earn a gold star. Maybe once a semester a girl might even earn a number of gold stars. What might be the reward in such a school? As Abel points out in his soccer post, it is just possible that girls like to be spanked, but don’t girls like rewards too? (PS and I do mean a little more than a chaste hug.)

    Rob,

    I’m sure I wouldn’t want to comment on Dr Jenkin’s relationships with his pupils – huge snigger :). I have heard on the school grapevine though that it is worth striving hard in his lessons for the inevitable reward!

    Besides, I’m not sure what a gold star looks like – I’m afraid I am in what is kindly called the ‘remedial’ class but also the ‘thickies’!

    Oh dear! Poor Rapunzel. In the remedial class are they wicked to you? Surely if improvement is shown in work habits, demeanor and there is general good conduct, any girl should expect some special reward. Actually, I am on a behavioral improvement program myself, and positive progress has resulted in delicious rewards. My husband refers to it as the ‘carrot and stick’ program. Perhaps you have a ‘suggestion box’ at this prestigious educational establishment??? :-) :-)

    I do agree that good girls deserve praise: gold stars, hugs… (Perhaps Rapunzel will work even harder in future lessons to make sure she’s rewarded appropriately?)

    But writing a story purely about a school prize giving ceremony, in which no-one gets whacked, wouldn’t lure too many readers to the site, would it?!!!
