I actually suspect my dad is kinky too – I remember him owning a porn movie set in a German boarding school (German movie), about a girl sent of to that strict school by a cruel guardian after her fathers kills her mother and himself over an affair. In that school, you see, they constantly cane girls, in class and out, girls engage into lesbian activities, and once the school principle hides a criminal in the school – her lover, the guy dressed like a lady, the latter makes the girls act like slaves, drink from dog bowls, invites one girl in the middle of the night to flog another girl, gagged and tied up and in put in a sack. Anyhow, our heroine gets out, and, of all things, becomes a dominatrix of the once cruel guardian and a lover of the above criminal! The other one he owned was about a trampy little red riding hood molested by the wolf, I think it had spanking, too. Gross!

In my case, given my parents relationship and the fact my sister and I once mixed “our” copy of the Beauty books with theirs, there’s certainly some genetic evidence.

But people must be tired of that story.

Sarah: A ‘kinky’ teddy! Well that says it all really. I haven’t a shred of evidence of interest in my family, except that my daughter and I were talking about connections between words and colour and I said there was a phrase ‘to paint your wagon red’. She asked what I meant, I told her, and she blushed away, and then brought it up again a few days later. She asked how I knew that phrase. I said I had read it in a story and she asked where does one find such stories………..

It did occur to me that if Abel did find a way to talk to his Dad about it, it might make him so happy, but I wonder how Abel’s Mum might feel about it. After all these years, she may find the introduction of a collection of canes in her life rather a challenge!! Unless, they already have one or two under the bed….??

Abel – why not just bite the bullet and ask him if he’s interested in spanking?

I firmly believe there is an element of genetic kinkiness, at least in my family what with my mother showing me the best way to bind birch rods and my daughter having a “kinky teddy” complete with mini whip and mini handcuffs!

Abel: Given your interest level in the subject, and your opportunity to partake in the interest, I can’t begin to imagine your father’s level of frustration if you inherited said interest from him and he has had no opportunity. Maybe the next time he visits you, you could leave something in his room to read that educates him well enough to know that he is not at all alone (PS Not the address of your site, of course. You may not want him that well educated just yet.)
