It is astounding how silent a girl can be in such a compromising position...the last thing on earth she wants is to be overheard and rescued out there in the big wide world....but apart from these minor issues...yes, I suspect an increase in visitor numbers could be enjoyed by the Duchess!! Only a few days ago my husband and I visited a beautiful gardens on a perfect day, with 10 minutes to spare before heading for the airport. "Over there, my dear", he said, as he directed me under a weeping willow to do things that must surely be against the sensibilities of the people of that beautiful city. It was only my insistence that missing the flight would be entirely his fault that rescued me from a rather uncomfortable fate.
