It’s a shame it’s only his head though… This got me thinking again about discipline at Hogwarts! I’m still convinced that, in a school that was founded hundreds of years ago, cp must have been used.

I’d say the punishment Harry suffers in this book by Umbrage is pretty corporal… even if it isn’t spanking. And I got a jolt in the first book when Harry thought he was going to get caned… even if it was a false alarm.

Quite right, Amber. That’s why every copy of the final book is being shipped with a free cane when it’s issued in a month or two’s time, so that every reader can relive the authentic experience of Hermione being dealt with by Snape in the final chapter.
