The Evening Standard last week gave Abel a piece of good news:
Damn… It was close this time! *covers bottom with both hands and runs away*

We’ll see. The Prime Minister may choose to revisit this policy decision in the light of the caning he receives at the hands of Dave Snooty in this week’s Private Eye. I’m still grinning.
Oh boy, if they keep on wanting to ban smacking in the UK, they’re going to see a major flow of spanko’s leaving the country! Maybe we should invade some uninhabited island somewhere sunny (!), and form a real spanko community. Create our own laws. I’m sure Abel wouldn’t mind getting creative.
Out of interest… Would that law apply to adults as well? Or just for children? And if it does apply to adults I suggest some kind of protest. Perhaps a march. I can see it now. ‘Spanko’s for justice.’ You can’t deny that it has a nice ring to it.
The best part is, I actually saw that headline when it came out (British news being one of the many news sources I check daily) and I smiled, thinking, “Oh, I’m going to read about this somewhere else fairly soon, I imagine.”

Please may I police the march? Keep the protestors in order, using whatever means necessary?
