A Stern Postcard

Going through assorted papers from our Malaysian trip,* I found a postcard we bought specifically so that we can post it here.
Because we just can’t figure out under what circumstances you could possibly mail somebody a card like this:

Is this an opposite of an “I’m sorry” card - the “Say you’re sorry”?
Or is this a card you get in the mail along with a notification of a spanking you’re going to receive?
The accusatory fingers scare me a bit… but not as much as they clearly scare the despairing little figure on the card. Perhaps, the next card in the series shows the little figure’s spanking by Disembodied Hands of Doom?

* Yes, I’m still unpacking. I think that’s OK because it’s still January.
Now you can buy a book of the best entries from "The Spanking Writers".
Oh no! The Disembodied Hands again! You’ll have a collection of pictures of disembodied hands soon, what with that coaster you wrote about a little while ago, and now this card. Do I spot a recurring theme here?
Anyway, I am also wondering what the heck that card is supposed to be for. It seems a little too accusing to me to be a “I’m sorry” card. So it must be a “You should be sorry - or soon I will MAKE you sorry” card.
… I feel sorry for the little guy on the card…
It’s the international Disembodied Hand conspiracy.
“There are *only* three things you should *ever* do about it?” As “assume the position” isn’t one of them, it sounds like a get-out-of-spanking free card to me… Do Disembodied Hands intimidate tops?
A top may argue that assuming the position and paying for your mistake is included in “learn from it”…
I can only think of one use for this card:
“You’re late on your rent!”
Of course, that would make the “Don’t Repeat It” a little redundant, since if not paying one’s renting repeatedly usually leads to eviction.
I’m not exactly sure why… but I just find that postcard really hot!
Maybe disembodied hands are a turn on for me and I never knew it!!!
Why, Sarah, you minx
