The ballerina’s punishment

“South Korea’s top ballerina disciplined for nude photo in Vogue”
Do headlines come any more arresting than that?
Sadly, the story was rather dull – the young lady was merely fined a portion of her wages. But one can dream…
-------Now you can buy a book of the best entries from "The Spanking Writers".
The cane marks would probably show up through the leotard.
Well a nude photo shoot in Vogue has got to be better than doing one in say, FHM.
Megs - indeed, one would hope that the leotard wasn’t too skimpy, otherwise the cane marks would be extremely visible to the audience. And I can imagine the girl wincing every time one of her fellow dancers lifted her skywards, their hands pressing against her stripes.
Evie: I’m now curious to see what FHM’s like. (Heads off to newsagent to pick up a copy with my morning Guardian…)
Is shocked Abel has never read FHM!
You’ve never read FHM? I used to share copies with my boyfreind. Oh and you should probably have a go at Nuts as well. Really Abel, this is most dissapointing.
Ha ha… Abel’s in trouble… Spank him, Evie!
Having read the story I feel compelled to comment on the fact that Abel found and articule in the Asia Sex Gazzette, and yet has never read FHM?
Evie - a simple error on behalf of my newsagent a few years back. I asked for a copy of the WSJ - the Wall Street Journal - and instead was provided with the ASG. It seemed rude to point out the error, and I have been stuck with the publication ever since.
I now feel the need to order the International Herald Tribune, on the basis that the IHT may be substituted with FHM.
…or you could just go and ask for a copy of FHM. As you are a man who is prepared to buy canes in Singapore and tawses in Scotland, I didn’t have you figured for someone who couldn’t buy a mainstream magazine in England! Lmao x
Several of my ballet colleagues regularly pose partly or fully nude or in fetish gear for fashion shoots or events. Whereas that’s really nothing out of the ordinary - the appearance of their bodies is extraordinary. Most do need consent from their ballet companies before publishing nude photos.
At this time of the season (in the Northern Hemisphere at least) those dancers who are susceptible to bruising, have marks all over their thighs and bottoms. We don’t really notice them; blood and bruises are everyday occurrences. Evidence of pain sustained for an esoteric ideal.

PS. http://fr.video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=1568237 shows Kim Joo-Won dancing a variation from a performance of Giselle. I wish she had held the first arabesque, and she probably wanted her hops and rondes de jambe (all to stage right) to be a little closer to the choreography (attitude front missing completely). Compare her to Carla Fracci’s together with the attitudes front with kiss in the second phrase. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeO2evl8az8&feature=related
