Abel's spanking blog & stories
Yesterday Natty wrote an interesting post about how a spanking reference in a mainstream medium can sustain her fantasy life for days:
You know how you’re reading a book or watching a movie and someone mentions spanking but it’s only a mention? There is no actual spanking or if there is, it’s only alluded to. And that allusion will keep you going for days as you ponder the logistics. At least that’s the way it is for me.
What does getting ready for a beating entail? What position will he be spanked in? With what?
I know exactly what she means. I love spanking stories, of course. Love writing them, love reading them.
And then somebody briefly mentions spanking in a completely vanilla book, and I reread the line a hundred times, fantasising. Variations on “you’re not too old to put over my knee” are always a favourite, as I mentally cheer on: go on, do it!
Does anybody feel the same?

Yes, I know what you mean. I totally love spanking references in ordinary life. Often, if J and I are together when we come across one, he raises his eyebrows at me and I blush. I can hear his spanko thoughts loud and clear!

Haron,
Oh, yes, exactly the same! And it’s such a joy to find those nuggets. Then of course I have to buy the other books that author has written, just in case!
Have you read David Niven’s autobiography? Loaded!
Hugs,

Haven’t read it, no. Autobiographies are, of course, particularly good!

Oh, yes! I know exactly what you mean! It’s more titillating, somehow! I guess it’s a like a tease, it excites the mind more than just something blatantly out there.

No I do not. Outrageous suggestion. You’re such a sicko, Haron! Jeez!
Okay, yes

Haron, I totally agree! My ears ‘perk up” whenever I hear the word spanking mentioned. My “very vanilla” wife will frequently mentioned that some politician or bad person needs to be “taken out and spanked”! My eyes kight up and there is a smile on my lips. Noel

Love it, love it, love it! It’s somehow more meaningful in vanilla lit, isn’t it? Don’t get me wrong: I love a good spanking story as much as the next kinky girl. But finding references in the regular world, at least for me, means that spanking really *does* happen outside my own little perverted head/circle of friends. Which reinforces every single one of my fantasies. Mmmmm.
