Last night I stayed with a friend, and we watched an old spanking film. The girl in it was spanked over her knickers: white cotton, high-leg, snug but not too tight.
“That’s pretty much my perfect kind of knickers,” said my friend, sounding awfully content.
I saw what he meant, but I wasn’t sure I had the same love of a particular kind of knickers. White cotton is nice, but, say, polka-dot is also cute. Then there’s silk. Or lace. They’re all very spankable kinds of underwear.
Do you think a specific kind of knickers is particularly suitable for a spanking, or is the choice dictated by the occasion?

White cotton is just the thing to make me feel like a very naughty girl indeed. But more often, I like a variety to give my spanker a little surprise when they are revealed.

Well, these days I mostly wear panties to prove I’m in a bratty mood, so the panties are contingent on what kind of brat I feel I am that day. Ruffle bums are for playful girlie brat, silk for sulty naught girl, lace for “I swear I’m innocent these panties jumped out of my drawer and molested me!” etc. Oh yes, panties are extremely situational.

Hmmm difficult to answer. Think I go through phases. But white cotton is prob my overall fav and nothing makes me feel more like a school girl/young girl than white bra, white panties and white socks.
Now I feel the need to go buy more knickers!

Nope, hate white cotton. With a passion. Spent far too many years being boring and wearing white cotton. So cute, or sexy, or cheeky slogans on bum (particular faves, Little Miss Naughty, “I don’t have to be good” and “Nice and naughty”) do it for me. In fact anything BUT white cotton.

AJ – I think you are missing out on something, actually. A cute pair of white cotton panties can look really cute and make you feel really ummm, nubile and the youthful innocent sort of sexy!
My Master is a “regulation knickers all the way” man. Which means for scenes I’m stuck wearing polyester “granny panties” — which adds 100% to my humiliation when my skirt is lifted!
I prefer thongs (for daily wear; I have this bottom that immediately sends all panties directly between my cheeks, so I figure since there is no option of *not* having a “wedgie,” I might as well make it was little material as possible!) or cute boyshorts, truth be told, but they just do not set an authentic tone, so those are panties I wear just for me.
You know, this gets me thinking … all of us spanko-girl bloggers (who don’t mind showing pictures of themselves) should do a post showing off us wearing our favourite panties!

Hmmm my current favourites are frilly ones in red and white tiny checks…though I’m also very fond of my black frilly ones.
Having the right underwear does definitely contribute to a scene though – there’s something about putting crisp white knickers into your bag and then pulling them on which can feel very ‘appropriate’ maybe?

I have never owned a pair of white cotton knickers as an adult. Perhaps I’m missing out on something? I’m will Zille Defeu, I prefer thongs for daily wear. Maybe I need to send some $$ to Haron for her to buy me the perfect English pair of white cotton knickers and send them to the US so I can see what J thinks of them!

The interesting thing is why being without knickers is not remotely sexy.
For me, I like french knickers, because they make my rather large arse look nice!
