I had to go to a difficult appointment today, and so of course I wore my hot pink fuschia panties. I think of them as my spanking panties. No one was going to see my panties – it wasn’t that kind of an appointment – but I needed them for me.

I am entirely in agreement. As you know, for some time I have been running the ‘Campaign for British Knickers’ – as oppose to ‘panties’ (shudder…) and I think it’s an important part of the manifesto.

I suggest the House of Commons orders a public inquiry. I’d be happy to appear as a witness!

I think this calls for a demonstration.
Um, a lie-down protest?
A sit-upon strike? (Or should that be, a strike the sit-upon?)
Just imagine the placards with slogans:
We shall not be moved! (of course)
Stand firm for your foundations!
Top drawers for bottom drawers! (or maybe that one should be vice-versa)

And then the chanting:
On! On! On!
No lay-offs!
Wearing, not baring!

And so on, and on…ah, such fun! Woman the barricades!
