Sexting, spanking

After many months of frustration with the world’s slowest PC, I finally gave in last week and bought a replacement. It’s a lovely, shiny new thing with all mod cons – a processor that doesn’t freeze every hour, a DVD player that actually works, wireless connection that lasts for more than two hours without kicking me out. Office 2010 (in the beta version) rather than Office 97 (which even I have to admit was getting a bit dated). Oh, and a webcam…

It did strike me that the festive season may have seen others receiving webcams Рor indeed clever digital cameras or posh new phones. Young ladies, to be precise, who might have been tempted to experiment with the new technology by taking rather risqu̩ photos.

Picture one such poor thing, whose naughtiness would, somehow, be discovered (the voice of her as-yet-unknown-to-her-family boyfriend just a little loud on the webcam, maybe). The girl would be sent to her bedroom in disgrace, to wait. And wait and wait, contemplating her fate, until she was joined for a lecture on her conduct, followed by the inevitable unbuckling of a belt and a lesson sorely learnt.

You’ve only just got a webcam??
Webcams can be fun. So I’ve heard. I, of course, am far too innocent to know anything about that.

Who among the ladies here agree with me that the ‘unbuckling of a belt’ is the most exciting, pleasurable and unnerving sound out there? There are times that I hear it faintly from the hallway, and actively have to tell myself to resume breathing, he is only preparing to bathe…

@eliane and @! – *what* have you been up to with webcams young ladies?

@sam – even more unnerving than the swish of the cane through the air behind you, a fraction of a second before the first stroke cuts home?

    That is a good second.
As unnerving, but significantly less exciting and pleasurable.

Me…? Don’t even know how to make my webcam work. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Webcams can also be used to watch a naughty girl’s expression as you lecture her… just an idea…

I’m waiting for the 3D hologram technology (think Star Wars) to go mainstream. Now *that* would be cool.

Various large organisations have 3D videoconferencing pilot programs, but currently it needs mega super-fast broadband that no household could possibly afford. We can all hope though :)

As an avid trekkie, I think I should point out that holographic technology is actually Star Trek…
