   Simon: Unfortunately way too many people disenfranchise themselves by not voting (or voting for some halfwit party that is never going to amount to anything *cough* BNP *cough*).

   Certainly elections often boil down to the best of a bad bunch. But the beauty of British politics right now is that at least there are THREE real parties (although Labour couldn’t elect a hamster right now, they’ll be back). Contrast this to the absurd situation over the pond where the Democrats are weak and/or incompetent and the Republicans are self-destructing. What choice do the poor Americans have??

   I’m going to suggest we draw the political discussion to a close at this point, but if anyone does want to suggest a new slogan for Cameron, that’d be fun!
