Every once in a while we meet a new person in the scene, and she’ll say, “I’ve been reading your blog for a while.” Yet, we had never spoken before.

Why?

Because the first “hello” can be difficult online. The spankosphere is a great place to chat and make friends, but whenever you come to a new place, a new site, there’s always the awkwardness of first introductions. “Will these people think I’m a freak?” Or worse, “Will they think I’m boring?”

Well, today’s global spanking blog event takes out the awkwardness out of stepping out of the shadows. Because today is “Love Our Lurkers” day, as masterminded by Bonnie.
