The makers of board game Monopoly are to replace one of the eight playing pieces. The public are being invited to vote on Facebook to get rid of the iron, car, thimble, shoe, top hat, wheelbarrow, dog or ship. In its place will come a ring, guitar, robot, helicopter or cat.
I have to say that I thoroughly approve of the potential inclusion of an instrument of corporal punishment in the game. A miniature cat o’ nine tails would certainly fit well with a young lady being sent to jail (without passing ‘go’).
Oh. Cat as in kitten? Damn… Anyway, surely a crook-handled school cane would be more authentic. And this all reminds me of the rather fun kinky version of the game I designed and had produced a few years ago…
