Monday morning

She feared the outcome before she arrived at work. She’d not slept the night before, dreading…

Monday mornings always followed the same routine. His way of showing her that she was his girl now, for the rest of the week. Her way of showing him that she knew. That she liked it. That she would try her hardest, in whatever he demanded of her.

Arriving early, half an hour before the others.

Knocking on his office door… and, within moments, being spreadeagled over his desk. Skirt lifted, knickers pulled down or to the side, as he entered her. Quickly. Deeply. Sometimes kindly and caringly; sometimes not.

But sometimes, first, he paused to talk. To ask about her weekend.

“A party, on Friday. And then a very late night on Saturday. And, well, not much yesterday. I was so tired.”

“And what of your professional development, young lady? Books read, business pages devoured. The sort of thing we’ve agreed you will do, if you want to progress.”

But there was none of that to report, and he was already walking towards the tall cupboard in the corner of the room to take out the cane. “It seems you need some help in focusing, then.”

“No, sir. Please, sir…”

Twelve strokes. No warm-up, not even on this cold winter’s morning. No kind words – just disapproval, and disappointment, and he thought she was more committed than that but maybe he was mistaken.

Before he took her arse. Hard. As mercilessly as he had just beaten her. And then ordered her to stand, and sent her straight to her desk without further discussion….

Such a cruelty to punish a girl in a story for not showing more commitment to her work, yet at the same time distracting so many female readers from work with said story. Wonderful start to this week.
