You’ve got to love Daunt Books, the small London chain. Its stores are gorgeous; its stock eclectic.
I mean, I dropped in to kill time before a breakfast meeting the other day, and look what was prominently displayed in the non-fiction section just inside the door.
I’m not sure the book itself – a modest proposal to reintroduce judicial cp in the States – will be worth reading. But the title and cover meant it simply couldn’t be left on the shelf. And when I do get to look through it, be sure that I will share any interesting snippets!
There’s just something about bookshops..and I’m old fashioned enough to still love books…that one would have stopped me in my tracks.
