The internet is for…?

On a train the other day, opposite a middle-aged couple and the woman’s elderly parents. She’s typing away on her phone; her father asks what she’s doing.

“I’m just looking something up on the web.”

“So does it have anything you want to know about?”

“Pretty much!”

“So if you want to find the cricket score, you just type ‘cricket score’ into the machine?”

“Yes,” came the reply.

“Oh.” He looked impressed. “Or, say, kings of England?”

“Yes.”

“Fascinating.” The conversation moved on to other topics. But, oh, what if he’d then said: “… and, say, ‘spanking’?”

She’d blush. Would it be panic that he knew her secret interests? Shock that he shared them? Or merely the surprise of being reminded of how he had kept her and her sisters in order all those years ago?

    The internet is for porn.

The internet is for everything. But especially porn.

Niche porn. So we can all find our niches.

The internet is the great saving grace of niche kink. I’m sure I’m far from the only person who felt a great sense of relief the first time I discovered that the internet had other people that found corporal punishment sexy.
