Snape and Spanking Belong Together

Today’s Professor Snape’s birthday, and if this means nothing to you, you might as well click over to the next post, because I’m about to go on a Harry Potter geek-out.

It so happens, whenever I think about Snape, he somehow ends up spanking his students. Because he would, wouldn’t he? How could he not? He’d be very strict, sometimes mean, not always fair, but ultimately the punishment would be for their own good. Right? Hogwarts would be much improved if spanking were introduced.

I don’t write fan fiction, but I think that on Snape’s birthday we could do worse than read some classic spanking scenes that some nice people have inserted into their stories for us.

If you have lots of time, you can read The Smallest Slytherin and its sequels, and if you have only a few minutes, then have a read of A Private Lesson.

Happy birthday, Professor.

EDIT: What do you mean, how do I know his birthday is on 9 Jan? J.K. Rowling told me on the phone! OK, fine, I’m lying. Characters’ birthdays show up on JKR’s official website.

I don’t know… I certainly wouldn’t really want to be on the receiving end if Snape is spanking me (believe me, you’re not the only Harry Potter geek here). I mean, he wouldn’t be FAIR at all!
This gets me to wonder what implement he would use though… Do you think he’s the caning type?

Kate – I can imagine him giving girls a very stern lecture, then a methodical caning :-) Quite the best thing of the HP movies, if you ask me, the thought that Snape might suddenly deal with someone…

I love Alan Rickman as Snape in the films – he’s perfect for the role. Have to admit that I only ever got around to reading the first three books and that was some years ago. I am intrigued though – how do you know it is professor Snape’s birthday today, Haron??

I’m afraid the guy is too somber for my tastes.

Oooo, I love Alan Rickman as well. Especially as Professor Snape, who I’m sure would punish most unfairly!

My fantasy would be for him to start off as Professor Snape and give me a severe caning. Then once I’m realeased to cry it off, he reappears as Colonel Brandon from ‘Sense and Sensibility’ and soothes my tears and hmmmmmm!

Jennie, thanks for mentioning that story. LOL when one searches on the site, the title states: “Warning: This story does involve the spanking of teenagers.” You have been warned! If anyone wants to read it, it’s at:

I’m a fellow Alan Rickman fan, I must admit. Perhaps we should ask his agent whether he’s ever expressed an interest in shooting more esoteric movies – spanking films, perhaps? (Jamie and Rapunzel would have to queue up behind Haron, mind. I’m guessing one or two others might want to join in, from the comments?)

Hi Kate. I’m afraid Snape would be the caning type at least sometimes. He strike me as of those very old-fashioned teachers, and he is from Britain, where caning was once in use.

The link to my story is here, in which Snape does cane and also spankings across his knee.

If you want to read, please review. All I have are angry reviews so far.
