Arnica and alternatives

Applying arnica to a well-marked bottom earlier, I wondered how and when this particular lotion was first identified as a source of healing for punished girls.

More to the point, cruel as I am, I wondered what other alternatives had been tried whilst early spankos experimented.

“Come here, my darling, and let me rub in this nettle essence to see if it helps.” Maybe not.

“I wonder if this garlic paste might help”. Owwwww.

“Bring over the deep heat.”

Now there’s an interesting idea…

Dear oh dear. And he’s a rowing coach, ladies and gentleman!! Arnica has been the treatment for bruises for many a year. Better than the lotion are the tablets one places under the tongue. How else does a girl of mature years, new to spanking, manage to sit down? Arnica tablets was my treatment of choice for those first six months, until I developed what is discreetly referred to as “buffalo hide”.

I bought a tube of arnica at a nearby Natural Remedies type shop. The clerk said, We sell a log of that”. Yes, I’m sure he does. We have an active BDSM group in my city. I imagine many of them shop there for supplies.

Deep heat should be made illegal for Tops to carry, use or even talk about!

I’ve wondered – does it really work? I bought some – I thought I should – but I’ve never bothered to use it.

Meh. I tend to have huge gaps between play sessions. I’m always well healed naturally before the bruises begin again! That’s probably why I’ve never bothered…

It works, Nic, but it really dries the skin, so if you do use it, make sure you lotion a lot as well.

The arnica pills are coated in sugar, I used to eat them as legitimate sweets in lessons.

Deep heat is best kept for pulled muscles and achy shoulders! Random question but has anyone tried Deep Freeze? And does it reduce bruising? Not that I have an entire box of various pain relief products for tending various sports injuries or anything…
