The weekend reformatory

Inspired, no doubt, by our weekend away, I’ve been incubating a very pervy idea over the past few days – with help from our friend Martha. I’ve imagined a reformatory – not the sort of establishment to which girls are send for long periods, but rather one established by the government to give them a “short, sharp shock”.

We’d book a discreet country house for the weekend: a few gentlemen, a group of girls, all experienced and trustworthy players. The young ladies would be made to report to the house at 6pm on Friday, where they’d be met by the officers. The front door would be locked and bolted behind them. Sound punishment and “re-education” sessions would be the order of the day, amidst periods in which they’d be locked in their ‘cells’ alone. A court-ordered birching would feature at some point of the weekend for each girl. They’d be released on Sunday morning (just in time for all concerned to find a nice pub for Sunday lunch!).

It’s the birching that filtered through into my dreams last night. A girl in a reformatory was being led to the punishment room to be caned; as the officer took her   past the reception area, she took her chance and somehow escaped. She was tracked down, found cowering in a corner of a back street, and led back to imprisonment.

The Governor dealt with her personally: the girl was tied, naked, over a punishment frame in front of the other assembled inmates for him to administer the dreaded birch. And once he’d finished, he turned to his officers and commented, “Now, I believe that this young lady was on her way to the punishment room to be caned. Please: take her on her way and continue.”

    yeah, me too! please?

although, i’ve never actually been birched…is it really really bad? (bear in mind that this is being asked by a girl who, after about 10 months, is still ridiculously afraid of the cane!)

I’d best put my name down too before the waiting list gets too long…

In my experience birching is really bad, but also has the most fantastic swishing sound ever to go with the pain – bonus! After the last time I was birched (and after I’d stopped shaking and crying and generally being a snotty, snivelling mess… albeit a very happy and somewhat euphoric snotty, snivelling mess)I recall almost begging to be caned, and caned hard, and I have my ridiculously afraid of the cane moments too, but the birching had got me into a zone where it all just worked perfectly. Not that I’d feel any less scared if I was about to go through the same thing again, but that’s all just part of it isn’t it?

Blue Fairy – some suggested homework for you: I’d direct you to refer to the posts which Haron and I wrote re birching scenes we’d played last year. Mine (involving both of us) was around Easter 07, hers was later in the year when Abel returned to her, following a business trip, in the guise of a Reformatory Officer! I’m sure some kind Spanking Writer can furnish you with the links. In my experience (I’ve had maybe 4-5 birchings ever), it’s a unique implement. A birch is a bringer of pain in quite a pure form; it’s not a pleasure implement. But, due to its nature and the weight of history behind it, it tends to be used in such powerful scenes that I think it’s something most spankos feel they *must* try at some point, at least once. Perhaps they need to scratch the itch of curiosity which surrounds its myths and legends?

This reformatory idea has played on my mind greatly this week, being, as I am, in an already-heightened state from the boarding school! I so hope it can be brought to fruition…

In my (limited) experience, birches tend to break the skin more easily than anything else I’ve tried. So for them to be used successfully in a scene (all the tops I’ve played with having wanted to stop at the sight of broken skin) I’ve had them used on me either on their own, or as the last implement in a scene.

As I say though, my experience is limited and I haven’t tried it for a few years…
