What a charming story! Becky tasted only a morsel of a pickled walnut and suffered a humiliating punishment before the entire kitchen staff. I wondered why she did not wait until after the table was cleared. The leftovers might have been easier to pilfer. The words of the narrator were beautifully put together. I enjoyed the narrator’s accent and fancied she was the little 16 year old relating the tale. Nicely done.
