Linking to the best blogs

Now I’ve taken over the reins for the content of ‘The Spanking Writers’, I’d like to update the blog roll – something that’s not been reviewed thoroughly for rather a long time.

I have various ideas for blogs I’d like to add – and a few (mainly now defunct) that I’m going to delete. I want to make sure I’m linking to the very best spanking blogs out there – the ones that are written by genuine people who are passionate about our kink; sites with original, heartfelt content; blogs written as a labour of love rather than by those trying to make money; erotica rather than porn.

So I’d really appreciate your input. Have a look at the current list – a little way down the left-hand column of this page – and, if you wouldn’t mind, let me have your suggestions for any sites you think I should add. (And if you have your own blog, please don’t be at all shy about suggesting it!). Thanks in advance for your ideas!

PS having landed back from Morocco on Wednesday, I’m off to North Africa again this morning on another business trip, spending ten nights in Egypt. I honestly can’t remember whether I can access the blog from there, or whether it’s one of the places that dislike ‘naughty’ sites. And, of course, things have changed somewhat there since my last visit a year or so back. I’ve loaded up various posts to appear in my absence, but if I can’t get online to approve or reply to comments, you know why!

My blog isn’t always about spanking, but I hope there’s enough spanking in it to merit consideration. I’d love to be on your list!

Er … Hello. I am shy about this but would you consider my blog please? I would like to think my blog is those things but that really is in the eye of the reader.
Would you also consider A Voice In The Corner too? He writes the most amazing stories.
Now I shall hide for a while- that was most shy making.

Hi Abel, I really enjoy the writing of you and Haron. Great idea to update your links with the criteria you outlined. If I may be so bold I have three suggestions for you.

The first blog would be “Carla in the Corner”

    http://carlainthecorner.blogspot.com/

which is written by young author Carla Marie. She writes fiction, relates real life spanking stories involving her partner, Maggie, and also showcases spanking photo sets from other blogs with full accreditation.

Next would “Devlin O’Neill’s Web Log”

    http://www.devlinoneill.com/

written by author Devlin O’Neill who writes spanking fiction and does commentaries on spanking in general. He also does audio readings from his books which are very enjoyable.

Lastly I recommend the blog “Dave Wolfe who does WolfieToons!”

    http://wolfietoons.blogspot.com/

Dave is an excellent artist who creates witty spanking cartoons dubbed “WofieToons.” He has an original style and a penchant for puns that will leave you groaning but also smiling.

Well, Abel, that’s my three cents worth. I hope I haven’t overstayed my visit. Good luck with the blog roll update.

Hopefully I’ll have new content soon, so maybe you could include mine? I could use the traffic.

May I second Michael’s suggestion of Dev’s site?
There are several bloggers (including myself) who got their start there and many other non-bloggers who just started to comment there. He is not just an excellent writer but also creates a safe space for newbies to play.

    May I suggest another blog?
    What about Arianna? http://www.ariannaacquiesces.com/
She writes beautifully, has pictures that are stunning and some insights into the relationship dynamic element of TTWD that are profound.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I’ll try and get round to the update in the next week or so – a nice evening task to look forward to after work in Cairo.

As for Winterbrook – there’s a post just about that site coming tomorrow: it’s far too special to be bundled into a general update of my links :-)
