A little series of daily dilemmas coming your way, today and for the next four days.
So, two girls are sentenced by the magistrate for committing a crime together: one month in the reformatory, with forty strokes of the cane on admission and again prior to release.
The friends are stripped, showered, searched and brought to the punishment cell. But which of them is more terrified:
a) the girl who’s served a previous sentence, so knows from bitter experience what the caning will be like
b) the girl who’s never been in trouble before….?
I think it would depend on the personalities of the two. However, not taking personalities into account I’d have to go for B. After all it’s basic human nature to be afraid of the unknown.
…I think girl A would be very afraid….if you’ve never experienced a very hard caning, you cant possibly know the intense pain it brings…girl A wouldn’t have been able to forget.
I agree with blush on personalities being more decisive than experience, but if I had to answer at the point of a gun (or a cane) I’d vote for girl A. I believe in this case fear of the known would be worse than fear of the unknown.
I think I’m inclined to agree with the popular vote for A…. a girl who hasn’t been caned is going to fear it, but is unlikely to appreciate quite how painful a hard flogging will be…
For me personally, I think b would be worse. I was unspeakably terrified before my first ever spanking, even mixed with the excitement of getting it – and I knew he wouldn’t even be hitting me that hard (he did – and I loved it – but that’s another story). I can’t imagine how much worse the fear would be if you’d never been spanked and knew the person doing it was going all out to cause you pain… If I was the girl in a, I would be telling myself I knew it would be painful, but I know I can get through it…
Oh I missed this series completely! Going to work my way up now …
I definitely go for b here. Having only heard about how terrible such a punishment is, how much it will hurt I believe she’d be frightened to the core because not knowing makes imagining how bad it will be so much worse in her mind.
And I agree with Kay. As it’s not the first time, girl a’s memory of how painful it was has faded already and she knows she’ll survive it.
LOL so B has the majority vote after all!!
