Debs’ delights

BBC News talks about an exhibition in Kensington Palace dedicated to débutantes.

Apparently, the girls used to have a special abbreviation code to talk about the young men they met during the season. Such as:

FU = financially unstable
NSIT = not safe in taxis

What they forgot to mention is that there was also:

OTK = gives a rather delicious spanking

    Ooooh, my grandmother was a debutante! Like, a trillion years ago. It looks way fun!

    My grandmother was too… which is probably why she’s now a truely horrible person who tried to put me on a diet when I was 18 months old… I’ve never heard any of those abbreviations but I certainly know a few guys who are NSIT!
