Most of the end-of-year reviews of 2009 have been filled with doom and gloom. Vanilla-me can see why: the recession’s hit my business as hard as anyone else’s. But spanko-me has had a quite wonderful time!
Although our “Real-Life Spanking” category brings back memories of so many great scenes, I particularly cherish the accounts that the friends concerned have written about our encounters. So here, then, are just a few of the memories of my spanking year – as seen through others’ eyes…
Rayne was caned for the very first time; Emma Jane earned her first real caning and – later in the year – was flogged in the workhouse by myself and HH.
Miss Grey – Graham – visited the approved school, whilst Lady Francesca Aubrey – Eliane – encountered His Majesty’s Chief Punishment Officer during a wonderful Regency-era house party.
Grace Ayers – Scarlett – was sentenced to a trip to the Punishment Centre. Poor Charlotte (Kami) was thoroughly abused. Meanwhile schoolgirls Eliane and Emma Jane found themselves together in their housemaster’s study to be caned.
And as the year drew to a close, Candy and Cherry (Emma Jane again, this time with Catherine) were interrogated in a severe, dark scene.
So, here’s to friendship; to a rather wonderful kinky year just ending; and to a new year (decade, indeed) of spanking fun just about to start.

I don’t understand how it’s the end of a decade, if I was born in 1990 then surely I should be 20 at the end of a decade but I’m not… it’s making my brain ache. On a less confuzzled note, it’s been a fabby year, fingers crossed for another one.

Yes, but you weren’t actually born *right* at the start of the decade, were you, Scarlett? If you’d been born at 0001 on 1st January 1990, then at 0059 on 31st December 2009 you’d be just about to turn 20. But since your mother held on a bit longer (OK, like, nearly 12 months longer), you’ll have to wait too
Anyway. My resolution for next year is to play more really hot scenes and make it onto Abel’s end-of-year roll call more than once!

@Scarlett – that’s way too complicated for me to work out. But it rather reminds me of the sad and pedantic folks who swore blind that the new millennium didn’t start at the moment we moved from 1999 to 2000, but that it started on 1.1.2001! (ROFL Haron has just read over my shoulder as I wrote that and went ‘But that’s what I believe’!)
@Catherine – or you could just get a blog so that you write about the scenes we play, and then I could link to it…?!!!

@Abel: Yeah, you’re right. I should start a blog. Because it’s not as if I already overcommit myself and start things I can’t keep up…

Thank you for some great stuff to go back and look over… including, strangely enough, my own – I’d forgotten just how intense I found that first time being punished with someone else.

Thanks for all the links– many old favorites, but some I hadn’t seen before. Trying to decide whether or not I want to make this list for next year…
