Out of interest – we were asked by the webmaster of SpankingTube to post our podcasts there. We’ve done so, and the reaction has been pretty hostile. Comments on this episode, for example, suggested that it was “creepy” and that I that I created an “atmosphere” that was “conducive” to “real beating”. The hostility is rather putting me off recording more episodes – I’d be interested in any comments, if anyone’s still reading this thread
And you are concerned about opinions of random porn surfers… why?
I for one am still enjoying the podcasts. I think they are best viewed in context of the blog and the “perverting reality” posts that as implied by their name are not reality but a perverted view of it. There is some sort of internet rule about the ratio between people who read content and people who actually add to it. There may be people listening on SpankingTube who are not posting favourable comments because they are put off by the previous negative ones. Its easier to post something agreeing with the status quo rather than disagreeing with it.
So I think you should continue to record more podcasts if thats what you want to do.

Well mine might be the bias opinion of a devote of the spoken word (said the dedicated radio 4 fan) but I think that many at SpankingTube would be unused to media that does not have a moving image to go with it and will be overly biased the other way.
I am enjoying the podcasts so far and am looking forward to see how they develop. It’s early days yet.

I was really taken aback by the hostility and implication of some of the comments this morning on SpankingTube, and it’s great to be re-assured (here and by email) that the podcasts are hitting the right spot for many listeners, and not making me out to be some sick child-abusing perv.

I have found the podcasts quite enjoyable. You both are doing a great job with them. Some people just try to make themselves feel better by putting down others and I suspect at least some it not all of those negative comments came from small minded people who do indeed feel the need to put others down in order to make themselves feel bigger.
I hope you continue the podcasts and look forward to listening to them!

Well, first of all, fabulous work. Please don’t stop the spanking cast! A little back story…
I do live on the other side of the pond. Alberta, Canada. I’ve been interested in the spanking scene/lifestyle for nearly as long as i can remember. I work in the Alberta oil patch as a truck driver, and i must say, if i could offer ANY critisism to the cast, its TOO short! lol, i downloaded all three current episodes to my blackberry, and have listened to them in the truck probably 3 or 4 times each. Your rich and insightful, yet still fun and cheeky content is a joy to listen to, and actually, has me quite jealous….I WANNA do one now! But, you two, with you’re unlimited editing budget and droves of loyal fans and followers, have already set the bar too high 😉
Now, as much as I personally enjoy spanking tube (for the “articals”) ahem…. i must say, the negative feed back there, will not be a fair representation of those that will consistently continue to listen, and TRY to be patient for the next episode to come…….*taps foot*……*paces back and forth*…..come on already!
