The Austrian girl

There’s something about traditional Germanic female outfits that just works for me. I spied this in a shop window in Vienna, for example:

Countryside, not city. (“The hills are alive…”?!)

A father, not a more distant relative or stranger.

A daughter too old for this to be happening to her.

Hair in braids.

A very sorry girl, distraught at what she’d done, and barely able to process the fact she was facing another punishment. (Last time had been so awful. How could she have ended up in such trouble again?)

A whipping. (Not a spanking. Not a caning. A whipping. Hard. Meant to hurt so very much).

Her screams, sobs, pleas for forgiveness and mercy clearly audible to the rest of the family and their neighbours.

Sent straight to bed afterwards. No hugs. No re-assuring visit from daddy to check she was OK. Just lonely tears, a sore and sleepless night, and avoiding eye contact with him at the family breakfast table the following morning.

Any German or Austrian lasses out there reading this, please do drop me an email!

Abel. I beg to differ with you. Austria, and Germany are two very distinct and different countries. I, having been born in Vienna, Austria, the proud home of Sigmund Freud, Johann Strauss, and Hedy Lamaar, actress, and scientist, just to name a few distinguished personnel, will never acquaint ourselves with Germany. For we are vintage wine, they are guzzles of beer. We do the waltz, they do oom pa pa.

Agree entirely… Just I associate that style of traditional dress with both German-speaking countries!

Abel, I accept your apology. Thank you. As a gentle reminder. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, are different than England, even though they speak the same language. Since I have travelled in my lifetime to over 150 different countries, I accept the uniqueness in each of them. I will always like your spanking blog, you are an excellent writer, and author. And I do miss Haron, she was a doll, in my humble opinion.
