Whilst we were staying with my parents at the weekend, my father happened to mention that he had been hunting without success for the DVD of “Box of Delights”.
Being the most lovely and generous type, Emma Jane – without saying a word – went onto Amazon on her phone as he drove us back to the station, and ordered a copy to be shipped to him as a surprise.
It was only later that she confided to me that she’d had a narrow escape during the ordering process – when noticing just in time that the site had assumed that the DVD should be bundled with the other, rather different, item already saved in her shopping basket…!
this could so easily happen…gulp..
