And lo, our book appears

Drum roll…Curtain opens…

My Lords, Ladies and gentlemen… (and the rest of you 😉 )

We are delighted to announce…

For the first time ever…

“The Spanking Writers”, our book!

Yes, folks, it’s true. We’ve finally made it into print. We’ve just taken delivery of our own copies of the anthology which brings together the highlights of the first two years of our blog (that would be 2006 and 2007). And it looks wonderful: hardback, a lovely dust jacket which you can remove if you want to read it in public, and so many fond memories as we read through the entries that we love the most.

If you fancy buying a copy, you can get it here. (It should be on Amazon before long, but we get to keep more pennies if you buy it from our own store. Not that we’re ever going to be millionaires, mind, but it’d be nice not to lose money on the deal). Happy reading!

Fiona Locke, the best-selling author of “Over the Knee” has this to say about the book:

“Discipline has never been sweeter. Quite simply some of the best spanking erotica you will read anywhere. The authors are imaginative, literary and above all, genuine.”

(Should we say something like “great gift idea – buy early for Christmas”? Or just “why not treat yourself to a little relaxing reading before falling asleep…”)

Here endeth the commercial break.

Wooooooooooow. I so want one! Sadly, the people in my household have no respect for privacy and anything that makes it through the post without first being torn to shreds by an over-excited puppy or a nosy maid (who ought to be spanked for not being able to understand ‘do not open my fucking post EVER AGAIN’) is likely to be opened by parents or younger siblings. *Sigh*. I suppose I shall have to wait until September.

Wow!!! That’s *so* exiting! Congratualtions guys! Unfortunatly I have to echo Smudge’s sentiments, getting it delivered to school could present all kinds of fiasocs. When my fake ID got delivered a couple of years ago all hell broke loose.

Ah, the advantages of no longer being young enough to call Abel old (and not having maids)– I can buy one straight away! Excellent, I shall hide it right next to Niki’s and Fiona’s books…

Cool! I’ll be getting one too as soon as I get out of Ireland :-) Don’t think the kids’ mum & dad would want to find out what kind of pervert they got for an aupair… Actually, I’ll see if they deliver to the Netherlands so my mum can take it here when she comes to visit!

What I really want to know is, whose hand is that? 😉

How Fantastic! :) I’ve bought my copy. With my all time favourite blog entry on the back cover too….

I shall be hiding my copy proudly on the shelf as well

Hope you’ll both sign it for me, then it can sit on my signed editions shelf next to Bill Bryson or Ken Dodd…or between them if you’d like!

Oh my goodness! How exciting. I don’t think I’ll have any extra money before the end of summer but when I do, I know what I’ll be buying!

I’m echoing two sentiments, Smudges- IT’S SO UNFAIR. And Kate’s… Who’s hand *is* that?

Whose hand do you *think* it is? (Hint: it isn’t Abel’s.)

Still can’t get over how damn cool this is – it’s a real actual proper book!!!!!

Congratulations on bringing this together, guys :-) I’ll be reading it avidly – or, in a sense, rereading. Certainly some great memories to revisit.

I have a copy, hot off the press, and I’m reading it very slowly to make it last. It’s great when I find a favourite blog entry – and I’m even realising I must have missed the odd day here and there… Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you xxx

I can’t wait!!!!!! Oh, how I adore books. And a book by my favorite addiction? (Sorry, but it’s true. Hi, I’m Elizabeth* and I’m a spanking blogaholic). Ah. Bliss.

How do I get a signed copy? 😉

Seriously. Counting the days until mine arrives…

Such lovely comments :-) We’re really proud of the book, and it’s such fun flicking through the pages remembering our scenes and kinky ideas.

Thanks must go to Martha, too – the anthology contains a section called “The Martha Papers” with her accounts of the scenes we played as a three last Easter, which are just great…

Haven’t got as far as The Martha Papers yet (they’re at the end, and I’m only on page 169), but I well remember the posts, they were brilliant.
