An email from a friend enquires as to the likely consequences for a girl caught during a dorm inspection by her housemaster with a selection of vibrators in her bedside locker – in direct and blatant contravention of school rules.
My reply:
See in my mind it wasn’t the housemaster who found them – it was the head prefect. And he would presumably punish the girl in ways that were very humiliating – and intrusive…
… particularly if she was a shy girl: one from the sort of home where such things would be unthinkable. The threat of a letter to her father (a vicar? or one of the school masters?) might make her prefer almost anything else than a caning…
Not, of course, that there is anything in the least wrong with girls enjoying vibrators. But schools are strict places, you know…
(I did giggle rather un-toppishly at the idea that then crossed my mind, of the girls protesting en masse at the ludicrous attempt to regulate their sexuality. Perhaps they would head to their beds one evening in lieu of attending chapel, the school echoing to the sound of collective vibrating revolution?!)
I love the idea of what the girls would do as an answer to such unfairness! 😀
